Death Doula Services

Sacred companionship through the threshold with tenderness, dignity, presence, and care.

What I Offer

1:1 Death Doula Support

Each situation is unique. Some families need a calm presence in the final days. Others need help preparing emotionally, having difficult conversations, or creating meaningful rituals and legacy offerings before death arrives.

This support may be right for you if

  • you or your loved one is approaching the end of life

  • you want more emotional and spiritual support than hospice alone can provide

  • you are overwhelmed and need a steady, grounded presence

  • you want someone to help hold vigil and witness the threshold with care

  • you want help creating a more conscious, peaceful, and dignified experience

  • you need support with legacy projects, rituals, or funeral preparation

  • you want death to be met with tenderness, not only logistics

Includes

  • compassionate presence for the dying person

  • emotional support for family members and loved ones

  • 11th-hour vigil presence

  • legacy work and meaningful conversation

  • guidance around end-of-life wishes

  • creating a peaceful atmosphere in the room

  • spiritual or non-denominational ritual support

  • gentle help navigating fear, grief, and overwhelm

  • after-death support for immediate next steps

  • funeral or memorial guidance on an emotional and organizational level

Scope of practice

Death doula is a non-medical support person.

I do not provide medical advice, diagnose conditions, administer medication, or replace hospice, nursing, therapy, legal counsel, or funeral directors. My role is complementary support: emotional, spiritual, practical, and presence-based.

I work in collaboration with existing care teams when appropriate, while keeping the dignity, wishes, and wellbeing of the dying person at the center.

My approach

Is gentle, grounded, and deeply human. I bring calm presence, attunement, and sacred companionship to the dying process.

I honor each person’s beliefs, values, and pace. Some people want prayer, ritual, and spiritual reflection. Others want simple presence, practical help, and a compassionate witness.

I meet each case with sensitivity rather than imposing a fixed idea of what death should look like.

I believe the dying deserves to be treated as whole human beings, not as a problem to manage. And I believe loved ones also need care, regulation, and support as they walk beside this passage.
